Wrestler Spotlight (June 2-9): Athena

This Weeks spot light is "The Wrestling Goddess" Athena. Trained by Skandor Akbar, Athena really has been making a huge name for herself in the recent months. From What I've seen this girl has got mad talent and potential. She has a very highpaced innovative style and the girl moves a mile a min. She made her Shimmer debut on the 33rd volume teaming with "Bonesaw" in a loosing effort to Rachel & Jessica's Excellent Tag Team (Rachel Summerlyn and Jessica James.) Many have said Athena was the clear standout in the match and it's obvious why. If it wasnt clear Athena was here to make a name for herself she stepped foot in the NY based WSU on their Final Chapter PPV facing off agianst Niya in a winning effort. Again the critics would put Athena over. Personally I think Athena is one of the top 5 girls who are going to take womens wrestling into the future. With an excellent ring presence, good mat work, looks that kill, and don't forget about the killer finisher (the Ultimate Backslash) this young lady is a step up on a lot of the other girls in the game....Ladies and gentlemen I give you.... Athena

Random blogs about my wrestling life and on occasion I will rant about the WWE divas division and the Knockouts. Keep it locked as I try to come up with something thats gonna stick.... also be on the lookout as I have a youtube show I'll be starting very soon and possibly a live show....
